Reflective Celtic Service

Do come and join us for our monthly Celtic style service.  It’s a short service with simple words and music based around a bible reading.

The service is inspired by the worship of the Northumbria Community, an Anglican community based on Lindisfarne.  You may well have been to a service where someone has used Celtic prayers, or you may be unfamiliar with church – in which case you’ll find this a friendly way to start.

The service gives us space to rest in God’s presence, and to reflect, as well as read together, words of Scripture and words inspired by Scripture.

People come from different churches and you don’t need to have been to a similar service before – it’s designed for anyone and everyone to be able to come along.  We are always happy to welcome people – it’s not a group you have to come to regularly – people dip in and out all the time.

If you would like to give it a try, then come and join us on any of these Saturdays:
5pm on the third Saturday of the month at St Oswald’s Church, Ashbourne, that is:

20th February, 19th March, 16th April, 21st May, 18th June,16th July, 20th August,

17th September, 15th October, 19th November, 17th December.

If you want to find out a bit more before you come, do get in touch.

We hope to see you soon
